Two hundred years old thatched house

Oshino Village in Yamanashi Prefecture is a highland basin at the foot of Mount Fuji (940 meters above sea level), within 100 kilometers of Tokyo.

"Masuno Ie", a nostalgic thatched-roof inn in the village of Trout, is conveniently located next to the Oshino Hakkai and within a 2-minute walk to the same location.

A 200-year-old thatched-roof house (a former headman's house) was remodeled, and it is run by three generations of the family along with a Japanese garden on a plot of 6,000 square meters.

We also boast a bath overlooking the Japanese garden.

Please come visit us at "Masu no Ie" for a taste of good old days.

It is 'handmade' by the host using a zelkova tree on the premises.

The Great Hall

Meals will be served in the Great Hall on the first floor.

Annex bath

Each room does not have a bath, but there is a annex bath, reminiscent of a villa connected to the main house.

From the Tomei Expressway Gotemba Interchange to the Fujigoko Toll Road, it's five minutes from the Oshino Interchange.

From the South Exit Express Bus Stop at Shinjuku Busta
Oshino Hakkai bus stop at "Oshino Hakkai bus stop" in the direction of Yamanaka Lake via Oshino Hakkai

It is a 15-minute bus or Taxi from Fuji Express Fujiyama Station.
